WHO WE ARE
Umami Comms is a creative agency that puts people first. Founded in 2017 in Dubai, our agency thrives on creativity and operates at a fast pace, with a proud focus on hospitality. With a team of 40, we offer expertise across key communication channels.
Although our mission is centered around human interaction, we also embrace all forms of innovation and intelligence, including non-human intelligence. Our values of humility and integrity are highly esteemed, and we hold respect for one another as a non-negotiable principle.

Umami's inception in 2016 was driven from our founder's frustration of having no dedicated F&B Comms agencies in Dubai. Since then, Umami has helped tell the story of some of the most important F&B brands in the region.
We have done this using a healthy mix of events and lobbying, while generating a consistent output of lifestyle, consumer, business and trade media coverage for our clients.
PR
Diversification into representing boutique fashion, lifestyle and corporate brands followed and grew our reportoire and our horizons.
SOCIAL MEDIA
The approach we take on social is to truly express a brand in its most fluid space... which is its own! Our creative team has a full spread of support in a very agile space including animation, design, strategy, content creation, posting/management and community engagement.
Content is king, and storytelling is its queen.
Social should be regal.
CAMPAIGNS
To create a key message and to bring that to key channels is the ultimate goal for an agency like ours. We have conceptualized and created interesting and vibrant consumer journeys for brands through meaningful campaigns.
At Umami Comms, we take a collaborative approach to our campaigns. By bringing together the collective insights and creativity of our team, we develop unique and multifaceted strategies that are unparalleled in the industry.

PRODUCTION
The Umami production arm has a flair for studio productions, on-the-go filmmaking and documentary style content capture.
From storyboarding to scouting to hair and make up,
it is all a part of the process.
Our in-house team consists of producers, directors of photography, content creators, animators and editors, all with an eye on the prize – engaging visuals.
Brought to life in 2021, this addition to our suite of creative services is a welcome complement to the agency.
The Umami design studio brings briefs to life in a variety of visually tasteful ways. From full brand conceptualization, to naming, to brand storytelling, identity building and creating smart visual applications, the branding vertical at Umami is dynamic, cultured and fresh.
